TO ATTACK RECORD
CAR OF REVOLUTIONARY
DESIGN
(British Official Wireless.) • RUGBY, April 5.
/ A sensation has been caused by the revolutionary design of a new highspeed car in which Mr. John Cobb, the famous British racing motorist, will attempt to break Captain G. E. T. Eyston's world land speed record of 312 miles an hour at Utah in August.
The car has two supercharged engines developing together about 3000 horse-power. The drive of the engine is to all four wheels.
A speed of 350 miles an hour is hoped for.
