LEAGUE PLAYER FOR AUCKLAND

. SYDNEY, This Day. J. R. Banham, a Rugby League fiveeighth, who. turned down a good offer from Queensland in order to go to Auckland, leaves for New Zealand on' Friday.
The "Daily Telegraph" says: "Banham may return as a member of the New Zealand team which is to tour Australia this season. There is no rule to debar him from selection in the New Zealand team."
Banham said he did not know to what club he would be attached in Auckland.
