(Received March 25, 10.10 a.m.)
LONDON, March 24.
Members of the House of Commons flocked to the Commons this morning to Claim seats from which to hear the anxiously-awaited declaration on foreign policy by the Prime Minister. Neither the floor nor the galleries of the House were adequate ,to the demand for accommodation. The Dominions' High Commissioners and other distinguished Dominions' representatives occupied the Dominions' Gallery, while Ambassadors' and Ministers from almost every foreign .country filled the* gallery of the Diplomatic Corps. Neither Italy nor Germany was officially represented. .
- Not for years Have such scenes been witnessed. The floor of the House was so crowded that many members sat in the galleries.
On entering, Mr. Chamberlain was loudly cheered.
