SOUTHLAND'S WOOL CHEQUE
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, March 24. A reduction of 40 per cent, in the Southland wool cheque for this season compared with last is . revealed in figures issued today by the Invercargill Woolbrokers' Association, the respective totals being £583,282 and
£958,705. Average prices at the two sales were 9.78 d a lb and £12 17s 9d a bale. Last year's figures were 16.3d and .£2l 6s 3d respectively. ' -\
