London.—The' Vienna correspondent; of "The Times" states that there was still another spectacle of German . military power, when the Tenth Infantry Division, with artillery, cavalry, and other units, marched , past General yon Bock, commander of the Eighth Army, now stationed in Austria. The march-past' lasted for an hour. It was a fine military display,, but it seemed that the. Viennese, after' last week's jubilation, had reached the point of emotional saturation, for, apart from the neighbourhood • of the saluting stand, there was not much cheering. There is even a faint murmur of surprise that so many troops from the old Reich. are needed in united Austria. The Nazis arc proceeding to cancel the honorary citizenships con- , ferred on the Archduke Otto by over 1500 towns "and- villages throughout-Austria. ' It is under- \ stood that the Austrian schilling currency is to end on March 26, .when the. mark will be-substituted.
