BIG FIELDS AT TAURANGA

AUCKLAND, This Day, Another very successful provincial fixture is forecast 'for tomorrow and Monday, this being the Bay of Plenty Racing Club"s Autumn Meeting at Tauranga. The going will be firm, and win-and-place betting will be in operaKing Rey, who is at the head of the dozen weighted in the Tauranga. Cup, will not be at any double-figure quote tomorrow, after his recent Ohinemuri Cup success- Grateful did not show up as well as expected at the earlier fixtuve, but this track will -suit him and he may be one of the hardestto dispose of' with his light impost. Malagigi ran quite a good race in the Ohinemuri Cup, finishing close up after having made the pace in the middle stages, a fine effort for a promoted hack. Llangollen arid Miss Lv are others with good chances. - GOOD SPRINT FIELD. The best field of the day willObe presented in the Flying Handicap. Tosh, at the head of the handicap, now has enough weight to worry him, although he is in fine form. Trilliarch has been galloping well at Te Rapa, and Lornacre won last Saturday. Triune, is nicely placed, and, on the figures alone, must be hard to beat. Sir Abb walked away with the Pukekohe sprint three weeks back,, and that performance may be repeated. LlangoLlen will be greatly favoured if reserved. Bachelor King may run on better than at Te- Rapa last month, where he was made top much use of. Abbey Lass, last Saturday's big dividend payer, is now up 15Jlbin the same class in the .Trial Handicap, but as the seven horses who finished immediately behind her are now missing she has a fine chance of making tier score a couple. Philcourt stands out among a moderate lot of two-year-olds in the Tanner Memorial. Kilberis, at his best, would take some heading off in the Hurdles. Professional finished fast in this class of race the first day at Paeroa, and he should land a place at least if he repeats the form. Galloping Acre is favoured for the Brown Memorial, and Racette looks the best of a bad lot in the Greerton Highwejght. Blue Needle may be, the pick of the President's Hack field. FORM AND CARD.
