■ (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, March 24. The monthly sale of hides was held this afternoon before a full attendanceof exporters, tanners, and representatives of the local trade. Some good parcels of abattoirs 'and butchers' lots were brought forward and these were sought after -at prices generally Jd to Id better than last sale's quotations. Calfskins met a weaker market, a fair percentage of the off ering'being passed in. Following is the range of prices:— Ox, 33-441b, 5 3-8 d a lb; 44-521b, s£d to 5 7-8 d; 701b and over, 6 l-8d to 7Jd. Cow, 491b and over, 4 7-8 d to 5 l-8d; 43-481b, 4 7-8 dto sd; 33-421b, 4}d to 4 7-Bd. Yearlings,'4d to sd; calf, l-61b, 6d to 73d; 6-81b, 6Jd.
