CYCLIST INJURED

COLLISION WITH CAR

Extensive injuries, including a compound fracture of the right arm, a fracture of the base of the skull, a severe wound to the right leg, and cuts on the hands, were received by Mr. Leslie J. Bryant, gasfitter, of 38 Mortimer Terrace, when the light motorcycle he was riding was involved in a collision with a motor-car at about 6.45 p.m. yesterday. The cycle was proceeding down Aro- Street towards the city, and the car was turning into Adams Terrace. Mr. Bryant was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance. His condition, though serious, is reported to be improving.
