IRON ORE EXPORTS
BAN IN AUSTRALIA

CANBERRA, This Day.
A proclamation prohibiting the export of iron ore from Australia will be issued by the Federal Government within a few days. The Government will institute a survey to determine the extent of the iron ore deposits in the Commonwealth, and the embargo on exports will be maintained until the results of this survey are known.
