COST OF ARMAMENTS

PARIS, March 22.
Cabinet has approved Bills increasing by £31,250,000 the limit of Treasury borrowing from the Bank of France and transferring £12,500,000 from the exchange control fund to the national defence fund in order to meet armament credits.
The Premier (M. Leon Blum) made a statement that the Bills were necessary because ol the difficulty in raising loans.
