FOREIGN POLICY RESOLUTION
A public meeting called by the Communist Party was held in the Trades Hall on Sunday night to discuss recent events in Austria and Spain. Mr. C.. G. Watson and Mr. C. M. Brooks addressed the meeting, which passed the following resolution unanimously:—"This meeting of Wellington citizens urges on the Labour Government to make the strongest representations to the British Government, declaring its support for lifting'the arms embargo against, the legal Spanish Government and for the Soviet Union's splendid initiative for the unity of the democratic countries of the world against Fascist aggression."
