The weekly card -party of "the Kilbirnie auxiliary branch of the Returned Soldiers' Association, held at the club rooms, Bay Road, last night was well attended. At the close of play the winners were: —Bridge, Mrs. D. Shackleton and-Mr^C.R. Papworth; special prizes, Mrs. Cadwallader and Mr. W. Bacon; "500," Mrs. Cole and Mr. L. Dumbleton; special prizes, Mrs. Farrant and Mr. A. Charman. Competitions were won by Mr. McCaul and Mrs. M. Clifford.

During the supper interval the secretary, Mr. H. M. Harris, reminded ladies of their afternoon next Thursday and the "Plunket Shop" at 138 Onepu Road on Friday.
