1.L.0. CONFERENCE

GOVERNMENT DELEGATES

It was announced today by the Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage) that Mr. J. Thorn, M.P. for Thames, and Mr. H. E. Moston, Assistant Secretary of Labour, will be the Government delegates to this year's 1.L.0. Conference at Geneva.

Mr. Thorn was formerly national secretary of the New Zealand Labour Party and is now vice-president. He was chairman of the Sea Fisheries Investigation Committee, the report of which was tabled last week in Parliament. I The employers' delegate to the conference is Mr. C. G. Camp, assistant secretary of the New Zealand Employers' Federation, and Mr. Arthur Cook, secretary of the New Zealand Workers' Union, will represent the employees.
