NELSON, This Day.

"The Minister of Public Work 3 and Minister of Transport, the Hon. R. Semple, in. an address to a crowded 'house at the Theatre Royal last evening, gave an account of his stewardship. He was very enthusiastically received. He described the bringing of the transport problem under control and with the assistance of a film told the story of the revolutionising of the country's public works construction by means of adopting the most modern methods of construction.

A hearty vote of thanks was accorded.
