INVERCARGILL, March 22.

A meeting of members of the Inver■l cargill. branch of the National Party i tonight unanimously endorsed the s selection of Mr. F. G. Hall-Jones as ■> the party's' candidate for the Invercar- •• gill seat at the General Election. He will go to the poll as a Liberal Nationalist. It was announced that the s selection had been approved by the 0 Dominion council of the party. j A motion of confidence in the Hon. y Adam Hamilton as leader of the party t was also carried. 3 An official announcement that Mr. ; W. M. C. Denham, M.P., will again . contest the Invercargill seat as a r Labour candidate is expected in a day j or two. llt is understood that Mr. Denham 5 will be Ihe only nominee of Labour , organisations in Invercargill.
