A BEAU PERE COLT

Dr. M. G. Louisson claims two representatives in ,the John Grigg Stakes at Ashburton -in the spring. One, a Beau Pere colt, comes from a great family, as his dam, Dignified, is a descendant of the famous Chelandry, a line which has produced a wonderful list of winners, including Traquir, Valais, Heroic, Maigpie and Syce,: five highly successful sires in Australia. T. Lloyd has broken this colt and he may be good. His mate is a neat filly by Myosotis from Royal Baby, by Chief Ruler from Baby Doll, an Australianbred ihare by Bobadil.
