RUGBY, March 9.
Replying tb a question in the House of Commons, the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty stated that the Admiralty was taking the necessary measures to accumulate an adequate reserve of oil fuel for the Fleet,, and arrangements were being made to provide' protection against air attack.
In • reply to another question, .he stated that the tonnage of the two capital ships on the 1938 construction programme was still under consideration.
No further information had been received, he said, regarding the size 'of Japanese battleships, projected or building. .' -
