LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL'

The Legislative Council met at 2.30 p.m. today. The Greymouth Harbour Board Reconstitution Bill was put through its remaining stages and passed.

The second reading of.the Pensions Amendment Bill was moved by the Leader of the Council (the Hon. M. Fagan), who explained the purpose of the measure.
