BODY NOT IDENTIFIED

The body of the man which was found floating in the harbour between Taranaki Street Wharf and Clyde Quay on Saturday has not 'yet been definitely identified, but a luggage check found on it bore the name E. Anderson. The luggage was collected from the Wellington railway station, and it was found that it had been deposited at Palmerston- North on January 13. ft consisted mainly of six blankets, a khaki gabardine overcoat, a purple tweed suit, a black serge • jacket, a navy-blue . serge waistcoat, a pair. of grey tweed trousers, three shirts, underclothes, towels, a grey felt hat, and two pairs of black boots. Under the Palmerston North label was the word "Masterton." Investigations are proceeding.
