LONDON, February 2.

Twenty-two attendants were required to carry into the House of Commons the bundlts comprising a petition signed by 804,000 people .throughout the nation protesting against the rising cost of living. It was sponsored ttf Sir Archibald Sinclair, who complains that the higher prices of domestic necessities fall most heavily on those earning low wages, on fixed pensions, or on the dole. He seeks tax and tariff cuts, and a modification of trade restrictions with the object of obtaining freer markets and benefiting consumers.
