This tribute was paid by Mr. Charles Bispham, headmaster, of the King's School, Grantham, during prize-giving when he reported that C. H. Elsey Warren had won one of the three major scholarships of Trinity College, Cambridge. Mr. Bispham. added that the university authorities had exempted Warren from Part One of the Mathematical Tripos. Elsey Warren, who is 19, has won over £350 worth of scholarships. He is a good bridge player, plays Rugby and cricket, and -was quartermaster-sergeant of the King's School Officers Training Corps.
