So successful was the season of "Bich» ard II" by John Gielgud at the Queen1* Theatre, London, that it, ran for ten weeks, the maximum time that could be devoted to any one play of the series. It was followed.by "School for Scandal," produced by Tyrone Guthrie, one of England's best-known directors, and "The -Three ' Sisters," produced by Mr. 'Saint Denis.
