PALMERSTON N.. This Day.

In reply to an inquiry by!-the Manawatu executive of the Farmers' Union, the secretary of the Stock Remedies Registration Board has advised that every effort was made to trace the sale of unregistered stock\ remedies. In regard to the opinion 'of the Manawatu executive that some remedies that had been registered were not effective, the writer stated that all applications were given very careful air tention and treated on their merits.

The letter was discussed at some length,. and it was agreed that action should be taken to get the board to tighten up the existing method of registering remedies.
