SCHOOLS AND POST OFFICE

Advice has been received by Mr. R. MpKeen, , M.P. for Wellington South, from the Minister of Education (the Hon. P. Fraser) that Cabinet has made a grant for additions to Ohiro Bay School.

Mr. McKeen has also received: advice from the Postmaster-General (the Hon. F. Jones) that the P. and T. Department has acquired land at the corner of Riddiford Street arid Hall Street for a new post-office.

Land has also been acquired in Emmett Street and more will be obtained in Minerva Street1 for the erection of a new school there.
