SYDNEY WOOL SALES
(ISy Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) SYDNEY, February 1. At the wool sales 9863 bales were offered and 8804 sold, 587 privately. Prices for all average to good wools showed an advance of 5 per cent. There was strong competition from the Continent and Yorkshire, with further improved Japanese support. Greasy merinos made to 22.5 d.
