Although dull and overcast, conditions at Whakatiki were good for play on Sunday, no rain falling until late in the afternoon. A bogey round for I points in the Summer Cup was won Iby J. Garbutt with an excellent card of ■ 2 up. L. Farrant was a close second with 1 up and K. K. Watts third. The previous weekend in a medal round K. K. Watts with a net 70 led the field, followed by D. Oliver 74 and J. B. Wallace 76. Stableford competitions on the last two Saturdays have been won by J. Crawford with 36 points and 37 points. i This young player is now down to the 6-5 mark. Next weekend medal rounds will be played, and with the majority of the members back from their holidays a good muster is expected.
