The Wellington Bowling' Club held a one-day rinks tournament on Saturday fqr.prizes donated by the president-and vice-president. Eighty-eight players participated.- The semi-final and final games are to,be pjayed at a date to be fixed. •• '; - - ' - The section winners are P. .Skoglund, Edwards, and Walker. In 'section A, Fairw.ay and Skoglund, ~played off. a section, tie, the latter winning by 7 to 5 after playing an extra head in addition to the seven as arranged. A summary of results is as follows: Section A: P. Skoglund "and. Fairway, 3 wins and 1 loss each; EwartyWylie, Liddle, Stonebanks, 2.wins and.2 losses each;. Warwick and.
