ACCIDENTS

Mr. G. De Cent, a plumber; of 85 Majoribanks Street, received abrasions to his left hand.and slight concussion as the result'of a collision which occurred between a motor-cycle and motor-car at the corner of Ghuznee and Willis Streets at 11.20 o'clock last night. The Free Ambulance was in attendance. Mr. Barry Edwards, aged 19, an. apprentice jockey employed by Mr. E. Simpson, trainer, of Trentham, had the tips of the thumb and first finger of his right hand shattered about 10.30 a.m. yesterday as.the result of a detonator he was handling exploding. After receiving medical attention he was taken to hospital -by .the Free Ambulanca.
