LONDON, January 22. riday's closing prices for the following raw materials were as follows those for January 14 being shown in parentheses:— Cotton.—Liverpool quotation good American middling, spot, 4.93 d a lb (5.02 d); February delivery, 4.79 d a lb (4.87 d). Rubber.—Para, Id a lb (7 l-8d); plantation smoked ribbed sheet, 7Jd a lb (7 l-8d) Jute.—January-February shipment Indian jute, Dundee quotation, £19 a ton (same). Copra.—January-February shipment, sun-dried South Sea, to London or Rotterdam, £12 2s 6d a ton (£l2 12s 6d); smoked, to Marseilles or Genoa, £12 a ton (£l2 7s 6d); plantation Rabaul, to London or Rotterdam, £13 a ton (£l3 7s 6d). Linseed Oil.—£3o 10s a ton (same). Turpentine.—34s a cwt (same).
