Hennah, the owner of Padishah, winner of the Wellington Cup, Who won £825 and cup valued at £75 thereby. Another Hawke's Bay owner, Mr. F. Ormond, filled second place, the first and third of Jvar, the win of Kathbella, and the second of Thala bringing in an aggregate 'of '£585. Broughton, who, although he failed on the first twp days, wound up his activities by piloting three winners on Saturday, his successful mounts being Siegmund, Ben Braggie. and Aureus. Three horsemen rode two winners, L, J. Ellis being associated with Dictate and Defaulter when they scored; P. Atkins won on Padishah and Kathbella; B, H. Movris on Oratory and Jvgr; and C. p. Shqild on Journet and Pekoe. , Otherwise, the riding honours were well distributed, thirteen horsemen saluting the judge on one occasion, the
