CHILD'S TRAGIC DEATH

NELSON, This Day. Shirley Leah Crimp,'aged 20 months, was killed in unusual circumstances at Tapawera, With her mother, she was seeing her elder sister off by a cream lorry when, unknown to her mother, the child moved to the, rear M the lorry. The vehicle pulled away, and the mother found the child lying on the road- suffering from a fractured skull. Death resulted an hour later.
