The Cairo correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph" says that' in the evening, Six hours , after the Royal wedding, Queen Farida drove from her home to Koubbeh Palace to meet the King for the first time as her husband. ; The Royal bride was clad in silver and was wearing her bridal veil. She was cheered by vast crowds. ' King Farouk assisted her to alight from the Royal car and escorted her up the main steps of the palace. Their Majesties were joined by members of the Royal Family and the bride's family, arid led the procession to the pavilion, where all participated in a tea party. .
