TORPEDO ATTEMPT
BRITISH SHIP'S ESCAPE
(Received January 21, 1 p.m.) BARCELONA, January 20. The master of the British ship Clonlara has advised the British Consul at Valencia that an unknown submarine fired a torpedo, which missed, at the Clonlara.
