"PYJAMA GIRL" CASE

INVESTIGATIONS CONTINUE

SYDNEY, January 20,

Detectives engaged on the "py3ama girl" case have reported to Sydneyheadquarters that their investigations so far have been abortive, but as the result of anonymous letters their inquiries are still proceeding in other States. . The body of the pyjama girl is still embalmed at Sydney University awaiting identification.

A message on January 19, following the inquest, stated:—Detectives in Sydney last night were informed by a" man that he had information which probably would throw much light on the "pyjama girl" crime, and in company with a detective lie left immediately for another State.
