WEDDING

GARBOD- MORRISON.

The wedding took place at the Congregational Church, Cambridge Terrace, ot Christina Johnston, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Morrison, Harewood Street, Mornington, Wellington, to Arthur Edward (Dick) Garrod, Wellington. Tho bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a graceful gown of ivory satin, with a lame collar. Her tulle veil was held in place by a pearl coronet. She carried a bouquet of white roses, carnations, and sweet peas.

Attending the bride as matron of honour was her sister, Mrs. Reg. Carew, Auckland, and Miss Enid Walker was bridesmaid. Both were frocked alike in pale green spotted taffeta with fitted coatees, and wore coronets of arum lilies. Their bouquets were of pink roses. Little Anne Burdette was flower girl, and was dressed in pale pink taffeta. Robert Morrison, the page boy, was in white satin.

Mr. Bert Benge was best man, and Mr. Wally Robb was groomsman. At the reception held at the Mokoia Hall Mr. and Mrs. Morrison received the guests, who numbered about 120. Mrs. Morrison wore black lace with bands of cire ribbon, a large black hat, and carried a bouquet of pink carnations and sweet peas. During the breakfast the usual toast list was honoured, after which the guests were entertained at a dance until a late hour.

Among the guests were Mr. and Mrs. Morrison (grandparents of the bride), Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Walsh, Mrs. Dexter, Mr. and Mrs. Burdette, Mr. Hadley, Mr. Harry Preston, Mr. and Mrs. and Miss B. Braham, Misses Bosher, Fla^eU, and Nicholls, Mr. and Mrs. Brown, Mr. and Mrs. F. Carnegie, Mrs. F. Bowry, Mrs. Luxton, Mrs. Benge, Mrs. Miller, and many others. Mrs. Garrod wore a navy ensemble with matching accessories when she left for her wedding tour of the north. The future home of the bride and groom will be in Wellington.
