King's Play looked the part when paraded for the match race at the Cambridge Meeting, and while, all things being equal, he.may not havebeaten Lawn Derby, his fine display was of sufficient merit to warrant strong support when he starts-in the Wellington Cup. King's Play has improved with travelling and racing, and he will not be discredited when he takes his place against the best at the championships at Addington.
