CATHOLIC TENNIS FINAL
J. Hatchard, of the St. Patrick's Club, yesterday won the men's singles title of the New Zealand Catholic Tennis Association by defeating F. Darroch, of St. Anne's, Newtown, 6-2, 6-4, at Miramar. The players came through to the final in the preliminary rounds played during the Catholic Association tournament at Christmas, but it was not possible at that time to play the match.
