During this month excellent opportunities of travelling to and from Auckland are presented by the coastal sailings of the Awatea and Matua which are advertised in This issue. The Awatea will leave Wellington for Auckland on Monday, January 24. arriving at the latter port on Wednesday January 26. In the reverse direction the popular Islands steamer Matua will leave Auckland on Monday, January 24, for Wellington, arriving here on Wednesday. January 26. She will leave Wellington again for Auckland on Saturday, January 29, and is due at that port on Monday, January 31.
