ATTEMPTED MURDER CHARGE

MAN REMANDED FOR WEEK

DUNEDIN, This Day,

In the Police Court, Wilfred Richard John Curry was charged with the attempted murder of a young woman at Saddle Hill -on November 20.

Medical evidence was given that the woman was operated on, and a piece oC lead, apparently a bullet from a cartridge of about .32 calibre, was removed from her left arm.

Curry was- remanded until January 20.
