Bishop and Mrs. Sprott, with Mrs. Coleridge, left Wellington by car today for a tour in the north.

Mrs. Guy Williams, Heretaunga, is visiting Auckland ' and is staying at Hotel Cargen.

Mrs. Rowland H. Ellis, "Tipapa," Hobson Street, who has been staying in Kuala Lumpar, Federated Malay States, with her daughter and son-in-law, has returned home.

A women's section of the National Party has recently been formed at Rata, with Mrs. G. Harvey as president.

Mrs. Howard Reid, Clifton Terrace, will spend Christmas with her daughter, Mrs. Bernard Stott, New Plymouth.

Miss F. Whatley, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. D. L. Johnston, Auckland.

Lady Bankhart was a passenger by the Rangitane which, arrived in Wellington yesterday from England.
