New Plymouth -from January 8 to January 12:—Miss I. Purdie (100, 200, : and- 440 yards free style), Miss W. Dunn • (220 yards breaststroke), D. Freeman (men's diving), Miss G; Rix , (ladies' diving), E. Toase (100,. 220, 440 yards, and half-mile, free style), Reg. Gsddes. (220 yards men's breaststroke), P. E. Mathieson (100 and 440 yards men's backstroke), D, Pickard was appoinied manager of the team.
The intermediate, and junior swimmers for the' championships at Nelson on January 15, .1.7, and 18 are as follows: —Intermediate: Miss C. Garvin (100 .and 220 yards girls' free style), Miss G. Harris (100 yards girls' backstroke), Miss R.. Smith (girls' diving), V. Agnew (boys' diving and 100 yards boys' backstroke), P. Young (100 yards backstroke and 220 and 440 yards boys' free, style), R. Knewstubb (100 yards boys' breaststroke), C. Ferguson (100, '220, and M - yards intermediate girls' breaststroke),. Miss L.
