BRITISH DRAMA LEAGUE
The annual general meeting of the Wellington area of the British Drama League was held recently. Miss Kane, in the absence of Mr. D. J. Davies, was in the chair. Representatives from various amateur dramatic circles were present. The annual report and balance-sheet were adopted, and the area congratulated on the satisfactory state of its finance. The following officers were elected for the coming year:—President, the Rev. D. J. Davies; vice-presi-dents, Miss Isaacs and Mr. W.F. C. Balham; secretary and. treasurer, Miss B. Page'; committee, Misses A. Brien, Eberlet, Cunningham, and Hardcastle, and Messrs. P. Cousins and E. Harrowell.
Miss Isaacs was thanked for her work as secretary^
