RANK OF BROTHERS

LATE MARQUESS OF HUNTLY

(Received December 4, 1.20 p.m.)

LONDON, December 3. The London Gazette announces that the three brothers of the Marquess of Huntly, "Cock of the North," who died on February 20, are to hold the rank of sons of a marquess, with a courtesy title of lord, as would have been their due had their father survived his uncle.

The late Marquess of Huntly left no children and the title passed to his great-nephew, Douglas Charles Lindsay Gordon, aged 29.
