(Received December 2, noon.) HONG KONG, December 1. An unidentified warship, believing she was being bombed, fired on a plane belonging to the British aircraftcarrier Eagle. The plane, emerging from a bank of clouds 30 miles east of Hong Kong, dropped a smoke bomb to ascertain the direction of the wind.
