SITE OF NEW BRIDGE

(Special to the "Evening Post.") PALMERSTON N., This Day. Information as to the site of the proposed new bridge over the Manawatu River at Makerua was sought by a delegation from the Automobile Association (Manawatu), which waited on the Main Highways Board in Palmnrston North yesterday. The reply was that the site was "pretty well determined," and that was the only satisfaction the delegation got.

In regard to the new bridge at Whirokino, it was stated that work had been held up for want o£ .binding wire, which had boen unprocurable in New Zealand, but had since been imported from England.
