MUNICH, December 1. "I-am not afraid," declared General Ludendorff on what may be his'deathbed. • • . '• ■ •■■ ',' -' '; •■■ . General Ludendorff, 'though, an apostle of the paganistic cult of Wotan. is undergoing treatment at the Joseph* mum Catholic Hospital, where, though he regards the Catholic Church as tha enemy of the German people, he is nursed by Catholic nuns,, with whom his relations are most cordial.- His medical attendant, though he issued a. grave bulletin, has not abandoned hope. He describes General Ludendorff as a wonderfully uncomplaining patient. It is learned that General Ludendorff is aware of his danger, but he says, "Nothing in this life can frighten me., I have been through too much."
