(Received November 26, noon.) RUGBY, November 25. The War Office has announced that icutenant-General Sir Robert Gordon inlayson, Colonel Commandant of the oyal Artillery, has been appointed eneral Officer Commanding the ritish troops in Egypt, in succession General Sir George Weir.
