The closing day functions of • -the Rangimarie Club were held on Saturday. During the afternoon the ■'cup presented by the president, Mr... K. Luke, was played for by mixed Capadian foursome teams, president's v., captain's, and resulted in'a-win for--Ihe captains' team by 9 matches to B;'four i matches were halved. ■ ;
.Members and friends assembled on the putting green, and the president's wife, Mrs. Luke, presented the trophiea won during the year. Mr. Luke congratulated the club on its remarkable progress. Club trophies were presented as follows:— . "..
I Senior championship, J. Tunnel!; runner-up, P. Francis; intermediate champion, C. L. Petley; runner-upv L. L. Carr; junior champion, R. J. Johnsen; runner-up, J. Dunn; captain's trophy, J. Nash; men's foursomes; -H. Reid and L. Stroud; Ancell trophy,. E. Burns; Whittaker clock,'A. E. Tarcant and Mrs. W. A. Simpson; eclectic medal L. Bradley; mixed foursirales, L. Johnson and Mrs. Gordon; Coronation foursome, L. L. Carr and J. watt; Coronation mixed foursome, H."Rfeid and Miss Backman; Dalton vases,'*H. Dodson and L. Bradley; Canadian foursome, McLaughlin and Miss Watt. Mrs. Dodson presented the ladies trophies, the winners in this section being as follows:— - Senior championship, Mrs. H.
