Lady Leys, who has been spending a few days in Wellington, returned to Auckland today by plane.
Mrs. A. H. Miles,' Hobson Street, and her daughter,- Mrs. Hughes Steele, Willis Street, will leave Christchurch next Tuesday for Wellington.
Miss D. Barr, Wellington, is visiting Tauranga, where she is the guest of Mrs. W. Johnson.
Mrs. Bernard B. Wood, has returned to Wellington, and is staying at the Golf House, Heretaunga.
Mrs. D. Kaye and Miss C. Sharpe, Wellington, are visiting their, mother, Mrs. J. Morgan, in Rotorua.
Mrs. Elsie McGuire left yesterday by the Wahganella for a holiday in Australia. ~
Mrs.\ Bryan Silk, Wanganui, who cnme to Wellington for the GriffithsHanlon wedding, will motor home tomorrow, accompanied by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Pearce, who will be her guests for a few days.
Miss M. J. Fraser, matron of the Hawera Hospital, and Miss M. Stevenson, of Blenheim, are visitors to Wellington for the Trained Nurses' Association Conference. Miss Fraser is the guest of Mrs. A. J. Nimmo, Hataitai.
Miss Mamie Reid, whose marriage to Mr. Sam Rubenstein v will take place in Sydney on K^rember 7, will leave by the Awatea on Saturday for Australia, via Auckland. Miss Reid has been the guest of honour recently at many pre-wedding parties.
Mrs. R. Button, Wellington, is visiting Auckland.
