FLOWER SHOW AT MIRAMAR.

The summer show of- the Miramar and Eastern Suburbs " Horticultural Society will be held in the Miramar South State School tomorrow, the official opening taking place at 3 p.m. The president (Mr. H. J. Crewes) will preside,- and the show will be declared open by Mrs. H. D. Bennett. A comprehensive schedule has been drawn up, which' includes roses, carnations, miscellaneous flowers, decorative work, home industries, children's classes, vegetables, and pansies, special attention having been given to the latter, for which good competition is expected. The membership of the society has steadily increased during the year, some of the occupants of the new State 'houses having joined, and others have signified their intention of doing so. These residents are especially invited to visit the show, and it is hoped that a good attendance of the public generally will give that support which the society merits. Mr. A. Dean is •the. show manager and Mr. W. H. White the secretary.
